The term ‘Aromatherapy’ was coined in the 1920 by the French chemist Rene Maurice Gattefosse. It is a practice of making use of essential oils, abstracted from plant, roots, flowers, seeds etc. for the therapeutic benefits.

The essential oils comprise of aromatic chemicals, which are obtained from phenyl propane. It helps in building proteins, which works as the building blocks for everything in the human body.

Apart from relieving from stress, the aromatherapy benefits include soothing your mind and body, develop metabolism, improves blood circulation, and strengthens immunity against various allergies. Some of its cosmetics benefits include moisturising and toning up of the skin.
